FAQs
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I offer a variety of photography sessions, including maternity, newborn, baby milestones (including cake smash and birthdays), family sessions, motherhood photography, boudoir photography, and portrait photography (birthdays, headshots, etc.).
You can easily request a booking through the Request a Booking page on my website. Fill out the form with your details, and I’ll get back to you to discuss your session and confirm availability. I take clients Monday through Friday and on Sundays.
I recommend scheduling your maternity session between 28-34 weeks, when your bump is nicely rounded, but you’re still comfortable moving around.
Session lengths depend on the package you book, typically ranging from 1 to 2 hours. For first-time moms, I recommend choosing a package that includes extra time, allowing you to soak in the experience and fully enjoy the moment. Baby photoshoots also tend to take a little longer to account for the baby's mood and reactions to being photographed.
I recommend wearing outfits that make you feel comfortable and beautiful. For maternity sessions, I offer an extensive wardrobe catalog, including gown options, bodysuits, fabrics, dress shirts, bodycon dresses, and more. While I currently provide a variety of options for maternity sessions, please note that I do not offer outfits for children or newborns at this time. For family sessions, coordinating colors and styles can create a lovely cohesive look. I can provide styling tips based on your session type!
Yes, I offer a selection of props and backdrops for various sessions, including maternity props, furniture, headpieces, jewelry, and floral arrangements. If you have specific ideas or themes in mind, feel free to share them!
Typically, you will receive 10-20 hand-edited digital images from your session, with the option to purchase more for an additional fee. Additionally, albums and prints are available as add-ons to your packages, allowing you to preserve your memories beautifully.
You can expect to receive your edited photos within 4-6 weeks after your session. This is an important timeframe to consider if you plan to use your final gallery images for a specific event. I recommend booking in advance to ensure you receive your images in time for any upcoming occasions.
At this time, I do not offer solo newborn sessions. I specialize in mommy-and-me newborn photography and family newborn sessions, capturing the beautiful bond between you and your little one.
I’m happy to travel for sessions! Please inquire about travel fees and locations, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your request.
Clients must read the cancellation policy to avoid losing their deposit. That being said, life happens, and as your photographer, I try my very best to be flexible and work with reschedules.
I offer a detailed wardrobe and set video consultation to finalize everything you would like for your session. This ensures you are well-prepared and know what to expect, both during the session and afterward. I’ll guide you through outfit choices and discuss any specific themes or ideas you may have.
I prioritize your safety and comfort. During newborn sessions, I follow all recommended safety guidelines and take extra care to ensure a secure environment.
At this time, I do not offer payment plans. A 50% retainer is required to secure your booking, and the session must be paid in full on the morning of the photoshoot to confirm the booking.
All deposits are non-refundable unless I am required to cancel the session, in which case a full refund will be issued regardless of the timeframe. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 72 hours' notice, and I will do my best to accommodate your request by transferring your deposit to the next available date. Cancellations will result in company credit only. Please note that changes to the session cannot be made after the 72-hour mark, which will lead to the forfeiture of your deposit. Therefore, I encourage you to consider your scheduling carefully and avoid booking too close to your due date—27-34 weeks is recommended. I urge you to review this policy thoroughly prior to booking, and feel free to reach out with any questions to prevent any misunderstandings.
